Claire Riverland
Director
Claire Riverland is an Australian-Chinese-Polish director and actor with a diverse filmography of conservation and travel documentaries, narrative short films, and music videos.
Claire blends striking imagery with emotionally resonant storytelling, often inspired by her global perspective and passion for nature and people. As an actor, she brings authenticity and depth to each character, including her own performances and the actors she works with, grounding them in truth and vulnerability. Her multifaceted career reflects a commitment to creating work that explores identity, connection, and culture.
Soraya Defteros
Writer
Soraya Defteros is a writer and filmmaker from Naarm/Melbourne.
Her writing spans across mediums from poetry to short fiction, with work published in Mantissa Poetry Review Issue II and Locative Magazine. Through Swinburne University of Technology, she directed the documentary ‘BEATMATCH’ (2023) and wrote the screenplay for ‘My Sister Charlotte’ (2025).


Vivone Street
Producer
Vivone Street is an Australia-based filmmaker with experience in producing, production design and assistant directing. Her credits reflect a passion in developing narratives focused on the shaping nature of human connections, whether they be romantic, platonic or familiar across both fiction and documentaries. In 2023, she produced, and production designed the self-aware short romantic comedy Just Friends, which follows a couple’s doomed friends-with-benefits arrangement. More recently, she did the production design for Vluchtig Bubbel’s upcoming music video “Harshest Harvest” and made her directorial debut in a prospective Paul Sadler Swimland advertisement. Currently, she is producing two Swinburne graduate projects, My Sister Charlotte and a short documentary called A Magical Story.
Isabella Sanderson
Director of Photography
Isabella Sanderson is an aspiring cinematographer from Naarm. She has a passion for visual storytelling, collaborating in both fictional and documentary filmmaking. She specialises in emotionally resonant stories, favouring films that sensitively address current social issues and are relatable. With an intimate, soft, naturalistic style, her cinematography emphasises the narrative and its characters to enable deeper audience connection. As an honours graduate, she developed her skillset whilst at Swinburne university and volunteers on film sets within the creative community. Isabella hopes to continue her career within the industry, developing films that inspire.


Lily Newcombe
Production Designer
Lily Newcombe is a Naarm/Melbourne based creative with a passion for directing, writing, costume design and production design across film and theatre. She has a passion for transforming concepts into a visual medium, with a focus on meaningful and layered story telling. She has been creating theatre and films for as long as she can remember, in more recent years she has simultaneously completed her bachelor of Film and Television (honours) and Swinburne’s first ever musical production, ‘Meddling With Time’. She has had the opportunity to work on an array of different projects, including short films, musicals, award-winning documentaries and music videos, and is eager to follow her creative ambitions further.
Jaden Sewell
Sound Designer
Jaden Sewell is a German-Australian film editor and sound designer based in Naarm/Melbourne. With a strong focus on rhythm, pacing, and emotional storytelling, Jaden brings a thoughtful and collaborative approach to post-production. His work spans narrative and documentary projects, where he strives to shape performances and tone through precise and intuitive editing. Alongside his editing practice, he has experience in sound design, adding a detailed awareness of how audio can enhance the emotional depth of a scene. Jaden’s passion lies in creating films that often embrace a sense of timing and irony, creating stories that balance sincerity with liveliness and a distinct human touch.


Aiden Buckley
Editor
Aiden Buckley the editor that seeks new challenges through expanding his skill through the edit, traditionally being a cinematographer. Films that he has worked on as a cinematographer include Behind the Seams: A Miss Australia Story (2023), An Evening with Correa (2024) and music video ‘Home Home’ (2024) for Apolline. Through research, study and passion Aiden seeks to bring his knowledge of editing and experience of cinematography together to create a visually impactful edit while remaining true to the directors vision of the film. Creating an interesting edit that will be unique and impactful, expanding his cinematic knowledge to better understand the ins and outs of every role and how he can better every aspect from one role through challenging himself.
